A to Z Blogging Challenge: R is for Rotten Arse Mood

Sorry this is both late and crabbily typed- I don't know what the deal is with my tired crabby self this weekend!

What R is for in my head is what I should be typing right now- so I will!  Crappy mood be damned!

R is for ROCK YOUR AWESOME!!!

We all get in bad moods, our clothes are a tad too snug, maybe Spring took the day off and it's frigging could out.  Regardless of what you're working through- rock your awesome!!!
I was having a high anxiety/low self esteem day yesterday- but I'm so glad I was able to crawl out from beneath my rock and spend the day with my Sister and Christie! :)  Lunch was awesome (OMG they had fried pickle spears!) And both the Kimmy and I made a good sized dent in the inventory at Spice Merchants :)
Plus the weather was gorgeous yesterday!  So maybe yes my car now has a new racing stripe, more importantly though, I am the proud owner of a just ducky floating tea strainer!   Seriously, I get to drink my tea while a cute little duck floats on top, life is awesome!
It's also amazing to see Christie working her element at the store.  She's such a welcoming, high spirit awesomeness and she's living her dream :)
As I gripe about my mood, I have friends on Face Book cracking me up, laundry's getting done and I am being serenading by Imagine Dragons.  "My age has never made me wise, but I keep pushing on and on..."
One of my favorite all times quotes is "If you don't like something, change it.  If you can't change it, change the way you feel about it."  That's what I'm keeping front and center in my brain.  I have a couple hours before bed and damn if I shall not make them awesome!

    1. Thank you John! :) I'm so happy you "talked" us into this! And by "talked" I mean- through down the gauntlet to get Christie on board who then dragged me kicking and screaming ;)
This Challenge has been all shades of Awesomeness!

  5. "If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change the way you feel about it."
Very wise words and just when I needed them, thank you.

    1. Thank you Maggie! I hated that quote when I first heard it- mainly for the word "change." I'm still not a fan of the C-word, but once I started owning my own "stuff" it did make me take ownership of how I viewed my situation.
